yoga + sound bath: sanctum med + wellness
dallas contemporary + sanctum med + wellness have partnered to present an inspiring one-hour yoga nidra (yogic sleep) and sound bath surrounded by art to heighten the senses. you will experience healing and relaxing sounds as they wash over you from all corners of the room. the vibrations of the sounds mix with your own inner energies to balance the mind and body and release any inner stress or overwhelm. the session will be led by PRIYA patel, sanctum med + wellness chief wellness officer. this will reduce stress, increase focus, and revitalize the senses with a sense of gratitude toward the arts.

don’t miss a guided tour of borna sammak: america, nice place by our executive director, carolina alvarez-mathies.
america, nice place marks new york-based artist borna sammak’s first solo exhibition in texas and his first museum show. known for mixed-media sculptures, paintings and installations that riff on american culture, sammak brings his wide-ranging practice to dallas through a showcase of new and recent works, as well as a new exhibition design conceived by the artist to complement the presentation. the exhibition is curated by adjunct curator alison m. gingeras
