questions
what kind of art is in your exhibition? paintings, sculptures, photography?
is the exhibition focused on just one artist or are there multiple artists in your show?
did you know dc changes the gallery spaces for every new exhibition? the artist and the curator work together to design a space best for viewing and experiencing the artwork. o you need to add any walls, pedestals, or tables?
think about how people will navigate the space. will they walk around the art objects? through them? under them?
are visitors allowed to interact with any objects in your exhibition? why or why not? are any of the objects in your gallery very fragile? if so, think about positioning a gallery attendant in the exhibition!
what is the title of your exhibition?
when people walk out of your exhibition, what do you want them to have learned?
be sure to share your exhibition by using the hashtag #dcfromhome
