draw with us is a live drawing program, with all materials provided, led by featured local artists + art instructors within dc’s galleries. these sessions are inspired by the museum’s current exhibitions + explore a variety of drawing techniques. hosted the first saturday of every month, this free program provides artists of all skill levels the opportunity to challenge + cultivate their drawing skills without the barrier of affording their own supplies. through this workshop dc looks to foster discovery, inquiry, + creativity in the public.
the june draw with us will focus on yoshitomo nara’s exhibition i forgot their names and often can’t remember their faces but remember their voices well. due to the current health crisis, this session will temporarily convert into an open-draw day. all materials will be provided for this socially distanced, at-your-own-pace, independent drawing exploration.
